Tromsø Instagram Tour: The Most Breathtaking Fjords

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and retreat to nature in this relaxing yet exciting tour by
Arctic Explorers. This excursion takes you through the untamed and spectacular beauty of Troms county, a place known for its stunning waterfronts, idyllic bays, and crystal-clear fjords. The highlight of the tour is the typical Norwegian backcountry atmosphere with charming small towns and unique wildlife.

Participants are recommended to be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the departure time. Your ride for the day is a comfortable car driven by a guide or our own driver who is well-acquainted with every nook and corner of Tromsø’s countryside. The activity begins at around 10:00 am when the guide picks up all participants from Comfort Hotel Xpress in the city center (pick up in the dark season is at 09:00 from November 22th to January 21st)

From here, you will set out on an exploration journey to the most postcard-worthy locations of
Troms county. The path unfolds with lofty mountains on all sides, creating mesmerizing views against the beautiful skies. 

Your guide knows exactly where to halt the trip for photography sessions and will ensure you capture this experience in the best way possible. During this sightseeing trip, you will witness local culture, and if lucky, there will also be a few encounters with local wild animals. The focal point of this trip is the coastal life along the fjords, which you’ll get plenty of time to admire and photograph.

The car will be parked at each pit stop so participants can roam around the locality to enjoy the scenery. The guide is also a skilled photographer who will help with clicking professional quality images. Lunch will be provide during the trip. After spending some time driving along the mountains and sea, this fjord tour comes to an end. Participants will normally be dropped of at the starting point between 3:00 to 4:00 pm.

Since this trip includes a lot of photographic locations, it is recommended to bring a good
smartphone or camera, and if needed, a tripod stand too. Participants must dress in warm clothes, especially in winter, and bring warm mittens, hats, and woollen socks.
