Start your day in the Arctic wilderness with a morning husky sledding adventure. Drive your own team of huskies through snow-covered trails and take in the peaceful beauty of Breivikeidet Valley.
Begin your Early Bird experience by meeting at Tromsø Havn Prostneset and boarding a scenic 50-minute transfer to Breivikeidet, a serene valley surrounded by mountains and sea. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the team and equipped with warm winter gear including insulated suits, boots, and mittens.
Your guide will provide safety instructions and demonstrate how to handle the sled before you set off. Two guests share each sled, taking turns as driver and passenger to enjoy both the thrill of mushing and the chance to relax and take photos. The sledding part lasts about 65 minutes, depending on snow and trail conditions.
After the ride, gather in a traditional Sami tent (lavvo) for a hot drink and cake around the fire before returning to Tromsø. It’s a refreshing way to start your day with a true Arctic experience.
